Widget catalog
The 19 widget types, in the groups the Add to plan wizard uses. Each entry lists the fields on the widget's page and the Custom styles it accepts. Every type also carries a Duration, which the wizard proposes when you add the widget to a plan; the plan row's own duration is what plays.
Media
Image
An uploaded image. Created by uploading to Media; there is nothing to configure. The fit option on the plan row decides how it fills the section.
Video
An uploaded video. Created by uploading to Media. It plays to the end, whatever the plan row's duration says, and loops when it is the only item in its section.
YouTube

Playlist
An ordered run of other widgets. Built on the Playlists page, not here. Only playlists of the plan's orientation are offered.

Canvas
A graphic you design in the Canvas editor: text, shapes, images, QR codes and live values from an API.

Signing in opens a Google window and then a Pick your calendars page; tick the calendars and confirm. The widget keeps reading the calendar while it plays.
Outlook Calendar

News

The plan row's duration is prefilled with posts × slide duration, so one pass through the stories fits.
RSS Feed
The same as News, with your own feed.

Ticker
A line of text scrolling across the section. Usually placed in the footer section of a split layout.

Web & display
The wizard groups these under WEB & SCREEN; the last of them is full-screen only.
Website

Some sites refuse to be shown inside another page and appear blank; test on a display before relying on one. Pages built for a mouse may not scroll or animate on a display.
TV

Live television from RÚV, the Icelandic public broadcaster. Playback depends on the broadcaster's own geographic restrictions.
Display status
A board of your own displays and whether each one is online, for a wall in the office or the IT room.

Display status needs the Business plan and a section that fills the whole display. On the Standard plan the tile is shown locked with Available on the Business plan.
