Dashboard & Live Overview

Dashboard & Live Overview

The Dashboard is the first page after you sign in: the health of your fleet, then what needs attention, then every location with its displays. Live Overview is the same fleet as a wall of previews, refreshed every 30 seconds. Neither page is where you change anything; both link to the display page that is.

What the statuses mean

StatusMeaning
OnlineThe player has checked in within the last couple of minutes (about 100 seconds).
OfflineThe player was connected before and has stopped checking in.
Not connectedNothing has ever connected to this display. It is being set up, not failing.

The same rule decides the pill on the Displays page, the dot on the live wall and the counts on the Dashboard, so they never disagree.

Dashboard

The header carries the kicker Fleet overview, a greeting, and a one-line summary such as "5 displays across 3 locations". The Search screens… field filters the location list below.

Fleet health

An uptime ring with the share of displays that are online, then the counts: online, offline and not yet connected. Displays that have never connected are left out of the ring, so an install in progress does not read as downtime. A strip below counts your Locations, Channels, Media and Widgets.

Needs attention

Only displays that were online and then dropped out, each with its location and how long it has been gone. Click a row to open the display page.

The Needs attention card listing two offline displays with their location and how long they have been offline.

The empty card says which of three things is true: No screens yet, Nothing connected yet, or Everything is online. A display that has never connected is not listed here; it is counted on the Fleet health card and badged Not connected in its location.

Location overview

One card per location, with a health bar and the displays in it, each marked Online, Offline or Not connected with the channel it follows. Displays without a location are grouped under No location. Add locations under Settings › Locations.

Live Overview

Press Open live wall at the bottom of the sidebar. Live Overview groups every display by location and refreshes itself every 30 seconds; only the first load shows a loading skeleton.

ControlWhat it does
LocationShow one location or All locations.
SearchFilter by display name.
Cards / CompactCards shows a preview of each display's channel with its status pill. Compact shows a dot and a name per display, so a large fleet fits on one page, and each location heading gets an n offline pill when any are down.
Live Overview in Compact density, showing a status dot and name per display and an offline count beside a location heading.

The card preview is the channel the display follows, not a live picture of the device. The portal has no reliable signal for what a display is showing at this instant, so nothing in it claims "now playing". To see the published plan as a player renders it, open the display page and press Live preview.
