Player guides

The Signital player runs on most signage hardware. Pick the platform your device runs, install the app as its guide describes, then connect it from the portal. The connection step is the same for every platform and is written once in Connect a display.

Remote Reboot device is the ability to restart the device's operating system from the display page. Every platform supports Restart, which restarts the Signital app, and most support Identify. See Manage a device.

All platforms connect the same way

  1. The Signital player on the device shows a 5-character pairing code and a QR code. In a web browser, open signital.tv (opens in a new tab) to get one.
  2. In the portal, open the display, press Connect and type the code. The fifth character submits it. Or scan the QR code with your phone and tap the display.
  3. The display's pill turns Online.

The full steps, including Reconnect and Disconnect and what to do when a code is rejected, are in Connect a display.
